Founded by Mr. Basant Parakh, Mr. Arvind Neotia and Mr. Vijay Narayan Rathi in 1996, the group began to build its foundations on the principles of trust, long-term value, and homes designed to stand the test of time. 2001\u20132005 | First Homes, First Milestones Our journey in development began with The Orbit, which became our corporate home. Tirupati Enclave marked our entry into residential development in New Alipore, followed by Orbit Palace and Orbit Park in Ballygunge. A boutique identity rooted in design sensibility was taking shape. 2006\u20132010 | Growing with Kolkata Orbit expanded across South and North Kolkata, redefining luxury in Ballygunge, Hungerford Street, and Jodhpur Park. Over 15 landmark projects spanning 9.36 lakh sq. ft. were delivered \u2014 including Orbit City, Orbit North View, and a cluster of developments that brought 2.63 lakh sq. ft. of new living and commercial space to Jadavpur. 2011\u20132015 | A New Generation Steps In The second generation of the three families in Mr. Anand Neotia and Mr. Arihant Raj Parakh joined Orbit, bringing fresh thinking in planning, design, technology, and systems. More than 3.5 lakh sq. ft. of boutique homes were delivered across prime locations. This era also marked our formal commitment to community \u2014 through I Love Kolkata, we supported a state-of-the-art centre for cerebral palsy and artificial limbs at Mahavir Seva Sadan. 2016\u20132020 | Defining Luxury Living Orbit reshaped the South Kolkata skyline. Over 3 lakh sq. ft. of premium developments \u2014 including Orbit Royale, Orbit Crystal, Orbit Sky Gardens, Orbit Victoria, and Orbit Cosmos \u2014 set new benchmarks in refined living 2021\u20132025 | Building for the Future Orbit entered a new era \u2014 greener, larger, and more future-ready. Orbit Ekam, a 2.25 lakh sq. ft. IGBC Gold-rated landmark on 1, Lower Rawdon Street, was delivered in 2023.
